Gruppo del Colore - Associazione Italiana Colore is a scientific and cultural non-profit organization aiming to promote the science and culture of Color and Light and the technical-scientific, cultural, and professional sectors connected to them, with a multidisciplinary approach. The Association wants to spread scientific, technological, cultural, and applicative knowledge about the cited disciplines and to support matters of common interest between members in national and international contexts. In 2014 the Association decided to add another instrument of cultural dissemination, a diamond open access journal, freely available to everyone.

The "Cultura e Scienza del Colore - Color Culture and Science" journal (CCSJ) was registered at the Court of Milan at n.233 on 24.06.2014. ISSN:2384-9568 DOI:10.23738/CCSJ.00 ANCE: E227716

The journal is a diamond open access journal, free for readers and authors, and has joined ROAD, the Directory of Open Access scholarly Resources, in 2014. Articles published in the “Cultura e Scienza del Colore - Color Culture and Science" journal are open access articles distributed under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). The copyright is retained by the author(s).

ANVUR:
- since January 2017, has been classified as Scientific for the area 08 - Civil Engineering and Architecture;
- since January 2017, has been classified as Scientific for the area 10 - Antiquities, philology, literary studies, art history.
